2018/2019 SEASON LAUNCH

We’re back again for another exciting season of photography from this Monday night (August 27th) meeting at The Arches, Bellview, Mallow at 8pm.

NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS VERY WELCOME

This year we are delighted to welcome local Photographer Sean Jeffries who will be our guest speaker on the night and will talk us through his photography as well as showing us some of his work.

Like previous years we’ll be displaying some of our own printed and digital images on the night as well so why not pop in and take a look. IMG-0820edit

Visit From Fermoy Club

The Fermoy Camera Club were our guests on Mon 29th January and a very enjoyable night was had by everyone.

Kate Murphy really had everyone’s attention with images from her Cuba trip which portrayed the Cuban way of life with lots of architectural photos, shots of the old cars and some great  portraits.

Jim Heffernan kept everybody entertained with great wild life photos presented with Jims unique brand of humour.

Deirdre Casolana  showed us a sample of her excellent work which covered most genres of photographic.

Maura Corbett had her LIPF panel on display with lots of advice on how to compose and present an LIPF panel.

Other Fermoy members on the night included Karen Fleming and Lorna Dwyer and Sinead Hickey.

Thanks to all the Fermoy members who made it an interesting and fun night.

Feel like Flashing !

Hi all, This Monday (25th) will be dedicated to Flash. Sean will be explaining on camera Flash, off camera Flash, Flash guns – Do’s & Don’ts. Feel free to bring your own cameras and flash if you have any questions on them.
we’re also collection images (digital format) for our upcoming competition “straight outta camera”. Maximum of 5 images. The theme here is any image once it’s untouched – no formatting at all – no photoshop – no lightroom – nada – zilch. Just the image straight from the camera. you can bring them on the night or email them to Kieran (bpscompetition@gmail.com) by Friday 29th September. See you all there.
