New Season Commences

Monday night 1st September was our first night back and also the AGM for Blackwater Photographic Society. It was great to meet up with everyone again and also great to welcome some new faces into the club.
The reports were read, the committee formed so we’re all ready to go.
We meet every Monday night 8:30pm in the Arches Bar – new members are always welcome.
Here’s the Program for the coming term:September to December 2014

Sept 8th  – Back to basics followed by group session with questions and answers from       10 – 10:30pm

Sept 15th -A display of images taken on outings through out the year , max 10 images  per person , followed by group session 10-10.30pm
Sept 22nd – Still Life
Sept 29th – Personal  Profiles
Oct 6th   – Open competition night
Oct 13th  – A visit from Killarney based Landscape and Fashion photographers Paul Garnet and Marek Hajdasz
Oct 20th  – Computer & Photoshop skills with 10-10.30:pm group session for Q&A
Oct 27th  – Bank Holiday
Nov 3rd   – Indoor Studio session (with some mean machines)
Nov 10th  – Monochrome evening(conversion etc)
Nov 17th  – Composition and Critique night.
Nov 24th  – Ladies members portfolio’s
Dec 1st   – A night with Wedding Photographer Adrian O’Neill
Dec 8th   – Night Shoot (weather permitting) backup plan is videography and time lapse
Dec 11th  – Social night. Meal in the Arches Bar
Dec 15th  – Competition night. The theme for this competition is Shapes.
